about me
My life's journey has sometime meandered through unexpected doorways, each turn revealing new vistas. Born into a family of artists and literary enthusiasts, I inherited their passion for creativity. Yet, I dived into the world of organic chemistry, dedicating part of my life to teaching it, researching novel molecules in the realms of pharmaceuticals and plant protection.
The fluid nature of geographical boundaries in the Balkans, shaped in the last centuries swayed me to the timeless charm of Italy, and then further to the luscious landscapes of Helvetia, where I anchored my family.
Painting with pastels appeared as an urge to release sudden societal constrains. This is how I discovered a new form of expression in pastel painting which blossomed into a true passion and vocation.
The high-quality soft pastels I use suit my impatient nature. Their intense pigment vibrancy and versatility offer a rich medium for artistic expression.
